Chitkara Mobile Center

Chitkara Mobile Center is right at Shani Bazar Chowk in Raj Babbar Market, Ravi Nagar. Being at the B 1 spot near the chowk means we see a lot of activity, especially on bazaar days when the whole street is packed with stalls and shoppers. My dad started this place, and I took it over after I finished school. It’s a busy little shop. We spend most of our time dealing with cracked screens and batteries that have given up. The noise from the market can be a bit much sometimes, but you get used to the sounds of people bargaining and scooters honking. We keep a lot of spare parts in the back room, though it’s a bit of a mess back there right now. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just me and a cousin who helps out when he can. People come to us because they know we’ve been in Ravi Nagar for years. We don't use any fancy sales pitches or try to talk people into buying things they don't want. Most people just want their phone to work again so they can call their families. We also sell some basic chargers and screen guards. It’s a straightforward business in a very busy part of town. Every Saturday when the Shani Bazar is on, the shop gets even more crowded, and we end up working late into the night just to finish the repairs for everyone.
