Chirag Telecom

If you head down Nagmandir Road in the Shakti Nagar Extension area, you will find us at B 1358. Chirag Telecom is right there near the corner. It is quite a long walk from the main Shastri Nagar metro station, but the people who live around here know the way well enough. The shop is packed with all sorts of small bits and pieces. We have chargers, phone batteries, and those little white earphones that everyone seems to lose once a month. The main desk is usually covered in tiny tools because there is always a phone with a cracked screen that needs taking apart. It is a bit messy, I will admit that. I have tried to organize the plastic drawers a dozen times but by Tuesday afternoon everything is mixed up again. The road outside can get quite loud with the scooters and the kids playing cricket nearby. We get a lot of people coming in right after they finish work, so the evenings are always our busiest time. Sometimes the power cuts out for an hour and we have to use the old battery backup just to see the buttons on the laptop. We do not have a big glowing sign or anything, just the name painted on the board above the door. It is a simple place. We do what we can with the repairs and selling the basic stuff. We just keep the lights on until late in the night.
