Champion Tent House

Champion Tent House is located at H-27-28 in the Shakurpur Colony. It’s a pretty recognizable spot if you’re from around here. We’ve got a lot of gear crammed into this place. There’s always someone moving a stack of chairs or sorting through the lighting cables. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. Running a tent house in a place like Shakurpur means you’re always on the move. We don’t spend much time sitting around. When someone has a function, they come over and we talk about how many people are coming. We have all kinds of tents, some big, some small. The fabric is stored in big bundles and needs a lot of maintenance. It’s hard work, especially when it rains and everything gets soaked. We spend days drying things out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just the ones who get the job done for the neighbors. Most of our workers have been with us for years. They know how to set up a frame in no time. It’s not glamorous at all. There’s a lot of dust and heavy lifting. But it’s what we do. You’ll see our trucks parked outside the colony early in the morning. We just keep things moving and make sure the setups are sturdy enough for whatever the weather does. It is just basic labor to make sure events happen.
