Chaman Tent House

Chaman Tent House has been a part of Janakpuri for a long time. Running a tent business is a lot of hard work, mostly because of the heavy lifting and the weird hours. We deal with all sorts of events, from small family gatherings in the backyard to bigger weddings that take up the whole street. Our inventory includes tents of different sizes, plenty of chairs, and those standard tables everyone uses. Sometimes the fabric gets a bit dusty from storage, but we try to keep things as clean as possible for the customers. My brothers and I manage the bookings, and usually, we have a small crew that goes out to set everything up. Janakpuri is a big area, so we are always driving the truck around from one block to another. It gets really busy during the wedding season, and sometimes we barely get any sleep. We just do our job and hope the rain stays away during an outdoor function. People around here know us by name, which is nice. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that; people just find us or ask their neighbors. If you need a few extra stools or a large canopy for a puja, we usually have it sitting in the warehouse. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just provide the stuff you need to host people. Some days are stressful when a pole breaks, but we figure it out eventually.
