Mayapuri Phase II is mostly known for its scrap yards and heavy industry, and our unit at C-196/2 fits right into that landscape. Inside, it’s a different world from the dusty streets outside. We have workbenches covered in soldering irons, circuit boards, and tiny screws that are easy to lose if you aren't careful. It’s quiet work for the most part, though you can always hear the sound of trucks and hammers from the neighbors. We’ve been working on electronic systems here for a long time. The shelves are full of old components and testing equipment that we’ve collected over the decades. It’s not the cleanest looking place because there are wires hanging everywhere and half-finished projects on almost every flat surface. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from being too silent while we work. People bring in things that need fixing or ask us to put together specific parts for their own machines. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses and checking connections. It’s slow, steady work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes a part doesn't arrive on time and we have to shuffle the schedule around. We aren't a big factory, just a focused workshop where we try to get the technical stuff right without making a big fuss about it. We just keep our heads down and get the circuits moving.
