Our place is located right in Karol Bagh 1. It’s a hectic area, but we’ve managed to settle in quite well over the years. We handle a lot of different things related to mobile accessories and gadgets here at Call Mate (India) Pvt Ltd. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. The phones are always ringing and there are boxes everywhere most of the time. We aren’t trying to be some huge fancy corporation with glass walls and expensive rugs. We just have our desks, our stock, and the team trying to get orders out to the customers. Some of us have been here since the beginning and we've seen the whole market change. What used to be simple chargers are now all sorts of wireless things that we have to keep track of. We try to keep up, but it’s mostly just hard work and making sure the inventory is right in the computer. You walk into our office and you’ll see people busy on calls or checking shipments. It’s a practical space. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because that doesn’t help us get the work done. Being in Karol Bagh means we are right in the thick of it. It’s convenient for getting things moved around the city quickly. Sometimes the traffic is a nightmare, but we make it work. We just show up every morning, drink our chai, and get to it. It’s a straightforward life for us here.
