Brother Enterprises

Brother Enterprises is tucked away in Govindpuri, right at 309A/4 in Kalkaji. It is a busy area, so there is always noise from the scooters and people walking by. We have been working out of this spot for a few years now. Inside, it is mostly filled with boxes of different parts and supplies. We do not have a lot of room to move around, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Usually, one of us is at the front desk while the other is in the back sorting through the new inventory that arrived. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit and makes a clicking sound when it is on high speed, which is pretty much all day during the summer. We get a lot of local residents coming in looking for specific items for their homes or small repairs they are trying to do themselves. Sometimes we have to tell them we don't have something, but we usually try to point them to another shop nearby that might. Lunch is usually eaten right here on the desk between customers. The floor is a bit uneven, but we got used to it long ago. It feels like a second home since we spend more time here than anywhere else. It’s just us doing the daily work, keeping the books, and making sure the shutters are locked tight at night. It is nothing too complicated, just a local business running day to day in Kalkaji.
