Brijwasi Comm

Brijwasi Comm is located in the DDA Market at GH 9 in Paschim Vihar. Being in a DDA market means there is always a mix of people coming through. You get the residents from the nearby flats and people just passing through on their way to the park. The shop is pretty straightforward. We have a counter that takes up most of the space and some shelves behind it filled with mobile cases and batteries. The glass on the counter has a few scratches from years of people leaning on it and sliding their phones across. We don't have a team of people; it's usually just us behind the desk. Sometimes the neighbor from the grocery store comes over to share some snacks and we talk about the local news. The market can get quite dark in the evenings, but we have a bright sign that helps people find us. We don't use any big words or try to act like a big company. We are just a local shop in Paschim Vihar. Sometimes we forget to turn off the radio, so there might be some old songs playing quietly in the background. If you need a quick recharge or a new pair of earphones, this is where we are. It’s a small life, but it’s a good one. We see the kids growing up in the neighborhood and eventually coming in to get their own first phones. It feels like we are just part of the furniture around here now and we like it that way.
