Bhatia Tent & Decorators

Bhatia Tent & Decorators has its office at Main Chowk in Geeta Colony, number 6/50. It’s a small office where we keep our files and meet with people. The real work happens at the sites where we set up the tents. We have a lot of metal pipes, heavy cloth, and rolls of carpet stored away. During the busy season, we are hardly ever in the office. We are out in the sun or under the streetlights getting things ready for a party. My clothes are usually a bit wrinkled and I'm often tired from moving the heavy stuff around. We are just a local team. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just come to the office at 6/50 because they saw our work at a neighbor's house. We have different colors of cloth, though some of them have faded a bit over time. We try to keep the chairs clean, but with all the outdoor events, it's a lot of work. Sometimes a pole gets bent or a piece of fabric gets a tear, and we have to fix it on the spot. It’s not always pretty, but we get the job done. I’ve been in this business for years, following in the footsteps of my family. We just provide the setup so people can have their celebrations. It's practical work that keeps us busy all year round.
