Bhalla Tent & Light House

We operate Bhalla Tent & Light House out of New Moti Nagar, at 18/25. It is a residential area, so we have to be careful not to make too much noise when we are loading the heavy poles onto the trucks at five in the morning. We do all the standard stuff like waterproof tents, colorful cloth hangings, and rows of those plastic chairs you see at every party. We also handle the electrical side, like getting the generators running and stringing up fairy lights. It is a lot of manual labor. My brothers and I run the place, along with a few helpers who have been with us for years. We are not a huge company. We just focus on the neighborhood and the surrounding blocks. If someone has a function, they usually just walk over to see us. The shop itself is pretty small, mostly filled with old ledger books and samples of tent fabric that are a bit faded from the sun. We spend most of our time out at the event sites anyway. Setting up a big tent takes hours of sweating in the sun, and taking it down is even worse because everyone is tired by then. But it is good to see a finished setup looking decent for a party. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on word of mouth from the neighbors around New Moti Nagar. That is enough for us.
