Bawa Tent House

Bawa Tent House is based at WZ 110 in the Meenakashi Garden area of Tilak Nagar. If you walk down the lane, you will likely see our equipment piled up outside or being loaded onto a small tempo. We deal with all the heavy lifting that comes with setting up for weddings, parties, and local gatherings. The warehouse space at WZ 110 is usually quite a mess of ropes, iron frames, and big bundles of colorful cloth. It is a very hands-on job, and I’ve got the callouses on my hands to prove it. Tilak Nagar is a bustling place, so there is always a lot of background noise from the nearby markets and the heavy traffic on the main road. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning; instead, we have a functional space where we can organize our gear and keep track of our bookings. My day usually starts early and ends late, especially during the peak months when everyone seems to be having a function at the same time. I rely on a few local guys to help with the transport and the setup because the tents are far too heavy for one person to manage. We don’t do any fancy marketing or have a big social media presence. Most of our work comes from people in Meenakashi Garden who have seen us working in the neighborhood for years. It is just a simple, hardworking life of moving things from one place to another.
