We are located in the Kondli Main Market. If you know the area, it is the place that’s always buzzing with people and bikes. Balaji Telecom Services is our name. We mainly look after phones and whatever else people need for their mobile connections. It’s a fast-paced environment. People are always in a hurry. They want their recharges done or their screens fixed right away. We do what we can. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stay organized. We have rows of cases and cables hanging on the walls. It’s a lot of talking to customers all day long. Some days the market is so loud you can barely hear the person across the counter. We’ve been in Kondli for a while, so we’ve seen the market change. New shops come and go, but we stay put. We don't have a fancy vision or anything like that. We just help people stay connected. Whether it’s a new SIM card or fixing a charging port that’s full of lint, we handle it. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we like the regulars who stop by just to say hello. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood. The heat in the market during June is tough, but we keep the shutters open and keep going. Our counter is a bit worn down from all the phones being slid across it, but it’s still solid. We have a small stool in the corner where we sit when things finally quiet down in the evening.
