You can find Balaji Mobile Reparing Center on the Dilshad Garden Main Road at P 30/A3. It’s a small shop because you don’t need much space to fix phones. The main feature is the long workbench covered with little screwdrivers, magnifying glasses, and those bright lamps that help us see the tiny parts inside a smartphone. We spend most of our time hunched over, trying to figure out why a screen won't turn on or why a battery is swelling up. People come in all day with cracked glass or phones that fell in water. It’s a lot of delicate work with tweezers and heat guns. The walls have some shelves with spare parts, new cases, and charging cables. Sometimes it gets a bit frustrating when a part doesn't arrive on time or a repair is more complicated than it looked at first. The Main Road is always noisy with traffic, so there’s a background hum while we work. We keep a small diary to write down the customer names and their phone models so we don’t get them mixed up. It’s a simple setup. We deal with whatever comes through the door, whether it’s a cheap keypad phone or a more expensive model. There’s always dust to wipe off the counters and old screens to throw away. It’s just us doing the repairs and talking to the locals.
