Balajee Eventz

A 49 in Kirti Nagar is where we set up Balajee Eventz. This area is mostly known for furniture, but we’ve been running things from here for a while. Our space is mostly a storage area for all the gear we use. We have stacks of drapes, lighting fixtures, and various props that we move in and out for different functions. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes because we’re always getting new stuff or bringing back things from a job. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most people just come by to see what we have or to chat about what they need for an upcoming party. The air in Kirti Nagar is always full of the smell of wood and polish from the nearby shops, but we’re used to it. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading the small van we have. It’s not always glamorous work, and there’s a lot of heavy lifting involved. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them ourselves on the spot. We are just a local crew trying to keep up with the demands of the neighborhood. It’s a lot of late nights and early mornings, especially during the wedding season when everything happens at once. We don’t use any big fancy systems to track things, just a notebook and some lists stuck to the wall. It works for us and keeps things moving. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks.
