Gandhi Nagar is always a madhouse with all the clothes being moved around. We are right on the Main Road at Chand Mohalla Chowk, number 10/988. It’s a very busy corner. You can hear the rickshaws honking all day long from inside the shop. We focus on cell phones and all the little bits that go with them. Cases, headphones, screen guards, and cables are everywhere. We’ve got rows of them hanging up. It’s a narrow shop, so we have to move carefully so we don't knock anything over. People come in from the market nearby, usually looking for a quick fix or a cheap pair of earphones because they lost theirs. We see a lot of different faces every day. It’s never quiet here. The floor is a bit worn out from all the feet walking in and out. We keep a small TV in the corner to watch the news when there aren't any customers. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi. We just want to provide what people need right then and there. Sometimes we stay open later if the market is still buzzing. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the new phone models coming out, but we try our best to keep the right stuff in stock. It gets exhausting sometimes but that is part of being on the main road. Anyway, we are usually here if anyone needs a cable or a recharge.
