Baba Haridas Tent House

You can find Baba Haridas Tent House over at A-152 in Been Enclave, which is part of the Ratan Bagh area in Nangloi. We’ve got a lot of gear stacked up here, mostly tents, chairs, and the different pipes used to hold everything up. It’s a family-style operation where we just get things done as they come. The warehouse area is usually a bit of a mess because we’re constantly moving things in and out for different local functions. We do a lot of setups for small parties and community things right here in Nangloi. It’s tough work on the back, carrying those heavy bundles around all day. We’ve learned to be quick with the hammers and the ties. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, which makes the work twice as hard, but we deal with it. We don't really have a sales pitch or a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, folks just come by because they saw us working at a neighbor's house or they live nearby in Been Enclave. We keep our equipment in working order, though you can definitely see the wear and tear from years of use. It’s a practical business. We show up, put the tent up, and then take it down when the party is over. That’s the rhythm of our life here, and we’re quite used to the sweat and the dust that comes with it every single day.
