Ashwani Tent House

Ashwani Tent House is based in Rohini Sector 9 at number 7. We spend most of our time out on the road moving poles and big rolls of fabric. The shop is more of a storage place where we keep the chairs and the lighting equipment stacked up high. It’s always a bit chaotic when a big function is coming up because everyone is rushing to load the trucks. We have different colored cloths and decorations that have seen many weddings and parties over the years. Some of them have little tears that we have to sew up by hand. Our staff has been with us for a long time and they know exactly how to set up a gate or a stage without being told. It’s heavy work and the weather doesn't always help especially when it rains suddenly. We have to make sure everything stays dry and clean which is not easy in an open field. When we aren't out at a site we are here checking the inventory and painting the iron frames so they don't rust. It’s not a glamorous job and we are usually tired by the end of the day. But people in Rohini know where to find us when they have something to celebrate. We just do the work and move on to the next house. Sometimes we work through the night just to make sure everything is ready for a morning event.
