Arpan Plastic Industries

We have been running Arpan Plastic Industries from D 42 in Jhandewalan for quite some time now. Working with plastic means there is always that specific smell in the air around the shop. The machines we use are pretty old but they still work well if you know how to handle them right. We make various plastic items for different uses. It is not the cleanest job in the world, as there are always scraps and little pellets on the floor. We try to sweep up, but it is a losing battle during a busy shift. Our space is not huge, so we have to be very organized about where we put the finished goods. If we get a big order, the whole place feels cramped until the truck comes to pick it up. Jhandewalan is a busy spot, so getting materials delivered can be a bit of a nightmare with the local traffic. We do not have any fancy brochures or a sales team. If someone wants something, they usually just come by or call us on the landline. We spend a lot of time maintaining the molds and making sure the temperature is right on the extruders. It is a technical job but also very physical. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch because the power went out during the day. That is just part of life here. We are just making parts and trying to stay busy.
