Aneja Tent & Light House

You can find Aneja Tent & Light House over in Kailash Colony Market at HS/34. It’s a busy little corner of the market. Our shop is usually filled with stacks of folded tents, bundles of wiring, and big metal poles leaning against the walls. It isn't a place that looks very pretty, but it’s where all the work happens. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks that go out to different parts of the city for functions. The lights we use are stored in big wooden crates, and we have to check them constantly to make sure the bulbs aren't broken. Kailash Colony is a good area, but the market can get very tight when we are trying to park our vehicles near HS/34. During the wedding season, we hardly get any sleep at all. We are out late setting up and then back early to take everything down. The staff usually sits on the folded carpets in the shop during lunch breaks. We don't have any fancy brochures or a glossy front office. Most people just walk in or call us because they saw our name on a tent somewhere. It’s a lot of physical labor, and our hands are always a bit dirty from the ropes and the metal, but that’s just the nature of the tent business.
