Aneja Tent And Light House

We have our shop at HS-34 in the main market of Kailash Colony. It is a great spot in Delhi because the metro station is just a short walk away. Being in the market means it is always crowded and there is never a quiet moment. We have a lot of heavy stuff piled up inside like bamboo poles, big rolls of fabric, and crates of lights. It is a very physical job, so there is always someone moving something around or loading a truck parked at the curb. The air in the shop smells a bit like dust and old canvas. We have some samples of the fairy lights and lanterns hanging from the ceiling so people can see what they look like. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the space. The floor is concrete and usually has some scraps of wire or tape on it. We have been in Kailash Colony for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners on the block. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic stools when the weather is nice to have some tea. People mostly just walk in because they saw our sign or they have lived in the neighborhood for years. It is just a regular local business where we work hard and try to get things done on time. We do not use computers much, just our notebooks.
