Anand Traders

Anand Traders is tucked away in Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II, right at D-1/6. If you know Mayapuri, you know it’s a place of constant noise and heavy machinery. Our spot is no different. We have thick metal doors and floors that have seen better days. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling in some corners, and it can be a bit of a squeeze to get through the aisles when we have a new shipment. We’ve been at D-1/6 for a long while, watching the area change around us. It’s a very industrial vibe, so don’t expect any fancy carpets or soft lighting. We just have bright bulbs and plenty of inventory to keep track of. Our day is mostly spent checking lists and making sure the right items go out to the right people. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just know our trade and we stick to it every day. Sometimes it gets incredibly hot inside during the summer months, but we just keep the big fans running and push through the afternoon. Anand Traders is the kind of place where people come because they know we have what they need in stock. We talk to the other shop owners nearby and sometimes share a meal if things are quiet. It’s a hard-working environment and we are just a small part of the engine that keeps Mayapuri running. It's not a glamorous life, but it's what we do here at the shop.
