Down in Shakurbasti at A/4 Mohindra Park, you’ll find our little shop, Anand Telecom. It’s a basic place where we help people with their phones and mobile connections. We do a lot of recharges and bill payments for the folks who live around here. It’s not the kind of place with a glass front and air conditioning that makes you feel out of place. We have a counter, some chairs, and plenty of phone accessories hanging on the walls. Most of the time, it's just neighbors coming in to ask a question about their data plan or to get a new screen protector put on. We try to be quick because everyone is usually on their way to work or heading home. Mohindra Park is a nice area, and being in Shakurbasti means we see a lot of familiar faces every day. We sell some handsets too, nothing too crazy, just the practical ones that people actually use. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us making sure everything runs smoothly. We don’t use big words or try to sell you things you don’t need. If your phone is acting up or you just need a top-up, you can just walk in. We’ve been here long enough that most people know where the A/4 spot is. It’s just our way of making a living in this part of town.
