Anand Shamiana House

This is Anand Shamiana House located at Palam B 180, specifically in Manglapuri Mahiver Enclave on Street No 7. This isn't an office where you sit around in nice chairs and drink tea all day. It’s more like a warehouse or a big storage area for all our stuff. We have piles of folded tents, stacks of metal poles, and rows of plastic chairs that we use for events. Most of the day is spent loading things onto trucks or unloading them after a function is over at night. The street is a bit narrow, so when the big trucks come in to pick up the gear, it gets a little tight for the neighbors. We deal with a lot of dust because of all the fabric and the constant movements. Street No 7 is mostly residential, so we try not to make too much noise too early in the morning. People come to us when they have a wedding or a small party at home and need extra seating or a canopy. We have different colors of cloth, but mostly it's the standard red and white stuff people ask for. The place stays busy during the wedding season, and then it gets a bit quieter when the weather gets too hot for outdoor events. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy things around and making sure nothing gets torn. We've been in this part of Palam for a long time. It’s just a basic business run out of a practical space.
