Amit Tent & Decorators

We are located at C-8/1 in Rana Pratap Bagh, right near the Nanak Piyao Gurdwara. It’s a good landmark, so most people don’t have trouble finding us. Amit started this business out of a small shed before we moved into this space. We do tents and some basic decorations for local events. It’s mostly just local families coming in to ask about chairs or the canopy for a small function at home. The gurdwara nearby means there’s always a lot of activity on the street. We’re usually busy cleaning the drapes or fixing some lights. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy showroom. You’ll probably see some workers loading a rickshaw when you walk by. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction around here, but that’s just Rana Pratap Bagh for you. We keep a simple notebook of all our bookings, nothing too high-tech. If someone needs a stage set up, we go out and see the space first to make sure it fits. Most of our work comes from people who live within walking distance. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now. It’s nice to see the same families coming back for different occasions over the years. We just try to stay helpful and keep the equipment in good shape for the next person who needs it. It’s a simple living but it keeps us connected to the neighborhood.
