Ahuja Tent & Light House

Ahuja Tent & Light House has been part of Rani Bagh for years. We’re located over at Captain Satish 152. It’s a busy spot. Most of our days are spent checking the bulbs and folding up the heavy tent fabrics. Lights are tricky because they always seem to break when you need them most, so we spend a lot of time testing everything. We aren't a big corporate event planner. We’re just local people who know how to set up for a function. When the festive season hits, this place becomes a madhouse. Cables are everywhere, guys are running in and out, and the phone never stops ringing. But we like the energy of Rani Bagh. My grandfather actually started with just a few lights, and we just added the tents later on. We don’t have a fancy showroom. You just come to 152 and see what we have in the back. It’s a practical business. We don't use those fancy computer designs; we just know what looks good once it's up. The street can be tight for our vans, but we make it work. It’s a neighborhood business through and through. We know most of the people who come in. They aren't customers as much as they are neighbors. We just focus on getting the job done so the party can happen. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our life and we’re proud of it. We keep things moving at Captain Satish 152 in Rani Bagh every single day.
