Ahuja Tent & Caterers

If you go to Hauz Khas Village Main Market, specifically at E 25, that is where Ahuja Tent & Caterers is based. It is a pretty well-known area, though it can get very crowded with tourists and locals on the weekends. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. Our work involves a lot of lifting, moving tents, and dealing with food. It is physical work and we are often out on the road, but this market shop is our main home base. Inside, it's mostly filled with equipment, linens, and some kitchen gear. It’s not a polished showroom. It looks like a place where people actually work. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing emails. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk into the shop. Being in Hauz Khas Village is interesting because there is always something new happening outside. We just focus on our own tasks at Ahuja Tent & Caterers. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just provide what people need for their gatherings and try to stay organized, which isn't always easy when things get busy. It's a family-style environment here. We all know each other well and we just get on with the job. It's a simple life at E 25 and we wouldn't have it any other way right now.
