Aggarwal Tele Shop

Aggarwal Tele Shop is tucked into Jawahar Park at A-16. It is a neighborhood place through and through. The shop is small and filled with all sorts of cables, chargers, and small gadgets. We have been at this A-16 address for a while, and the locals know us as the place to go when they need a quick recharge or a new SIM card. The interior is simple, with some wooden shelves we put up ourselves. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy displays. Most of our day is spent talking to the neighbors and helping older folks with their phone settings. It can get pretty hot in the summer because the shop faces the sun in the afternoon, so we have a small fan that hums away in the corner. We usually have a radio playing softly in the background to pass the time between customers. There’s no big team here, just a couple of us who take turns minding the counter. When the delivery trucks come into Jawahar Park, it can block the whole lane, so we often have to help them navigate the turn. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city; we just want to keep things running for the people who live nearby. It’s a quiet life for the most part, punctuated by the usual bustle of a Delhi residential colony.
