Adworld The Mobile Shop

We’ve been here in Bali Nagar for a good while now. The shop is at W-Z/52 in Basai Darapur, right where most people pass by on their way home. It isn't a huge place, just a regular mobile shop where we keep the shelves stocked with what people actually need. Most days it is just us helping folks pick out a new phone or fixing a cracked screen that happened by accident. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. Some come in just to ask a quick question about their settings or to find a charger that won't break in a week. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is off work and heading back to their families. We try to keep things simple. If a phone can be fixed, we tell you. If it’s junk, we say that too. There’s no point in making things complicated with fancy talk. My cousin helps out sometimes when the repair bench gets backed up. We have all the usual brands and some cheaper ones that work just as well for basic stuff. The lights in the shop flicker a bit if the AC is running too hard, but it’s home to us. Being in Basai Darapur means we know the local problems, like how dusty it gets. We just keep the counters wiped down and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a living, and we like being part of the street here.
