Aarnie Telecom

If you walk through Janakpuri BF 81, you will see our little telecom shop tucked away there. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, but we still get plenty of visitors. I spend most of my time behind the counter looking at small parts or tapping away on the computer. There are wires and charging cables hanging from the walls in almost every color you can think of. I try to keep things organized, but it usually ends up looking a bit messy by the afternoon. Dealing with phones means people are often frustrated when they arrive because their tech isn't working. I just listen and try to see what can be done. It is a lot of small tasks like fixing a SIM tray or explaining a data plan over and over. I keep a bottle of water and some biscuits under the desk because there isn't always time to go out for lunch. The floor is just plain tiles and we have a simple shutter that we roll up every morning. There isn't anything fancy about the place. It is just a workspace where we deal with mobile stuff. Most of our regulars live right here in the BF block. It’s nice to see the same people every week, even if it is just for a quick recharge or to buy a new screen guard.
