Tula'S International School

Located out in Dhulkot, which is in the Selaqui area of Dehradun, our school sits a bit away from the main rush of the city center. It is a fairly large campus, and because we are further out, there is more space than you would find in the middle of town. The commute from Dehradun city can take a while depending on the traffic near Selaqui, so many people here are used to the long drive. We have students who stay on campus and those who come in daily, so the schedule is pretty packed from early morning until the evening. The buildings are modern enough, but like any large place, there is always some maintenance work going on somewhere. It gets quite hot in the summers and very rainy during the monsoons, which changes how we use the outdoor grounds for activities. The staff room is usually a hub of activity with people planning their next periods or sorting out student issues over tea. We do not spend much time on fancy talk; we just try to keep the operations running and the classes on schedule. There are plenty of different facilities, from the labs to the sports areas, and they all get a lot of use throughout the week. It is a big operation to manage, and we just take it one day at a time, making sure the basic needs of the students are met without much fuss.
