The Woodland School

Our school is situated at 694 in the Indira Nagar Colony area of Dehradun. It’s a nice enough spot, surrounded by houses and some trees. We have been operating here for several years now. Most of us who work here live nearby, so it’s a very local feel. The building has several floors and classrooms for the different grades. It is usually quite lively during the day. We have a lot of stairs and the kids are always running up and down them. We try to keep the place looking decent, though with so many children around, there’s always a bit of a mess to clean up at the end of the day. We don't really have a lot of fancy equipment. It’s mostly just the basics that you need for a school to run. We spend our time teaching and making sure the kids stay out of trouble. In the winter it gets a bit chilly here in Dehradun, but we just bundle up and keep going. The colony is quiet apart from the school hours. We are just a group of people trying to run a school the best way we know how. There are no big missions or corporate slogans here. Just us, the students, and the daily routine of lessons and lunch breaks in Indira Nagar. It keeps us all pretty busy and we like it that way.
