Doon International School

You can find Doon International School out on the Haridwar Highway at the 9th Milestone. Being in the Virbhadra area of Rishikesh means we get a lot of fresh air, though the highway can be quite busy with traffic during the day. We’ve been here for a good while now. The school is a place where we try to keep things organized, but it’s always a bit noisy with children running around the halls. Our staff comes in early to get the building ready before the school buses arrive. Since we are located in Rishikesh - 249202, we see a lot of people passing through, but our focus is just on the local students who come here every single day. It isn't a flashy place. We have classrooms, a bit of space for play, and teachers who have been at this for many years. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we need to repaint a wall over the weekend, so there is always some kind of chore to do. That's just part of running a school. We don't spend much time on fancy brochures or marketing. Instead, we spend it checking homework and talking to parents who pull up at the front gate. It's a very practical setup. We handle the daily tasks and make sure the kids are safe and learning what they need to know. It's a lot of work, but we are used to the pace by now. Being out here by the highway makes us easy to find.
