About The Indian Cambridge School – Education in Dehradun
Our school sits on the corner of Chander Road and Nemi Road in the Dalanwala area. It’s a quiet part of the city with lots of old trees and brick walls. We use both the number 12 and 11 spots for different parts of the school. It’s an old building, the kind you find in Dehradun, with high ceilings and thick walls that stay cool. We see a lot of rain here, so the grounds are usually very green. The kids come from all over the neighborhood, some walking and some in those yellow vans. It’s a lot of work keeping up with all the students and their energy. We have a small garden area that needs a bit of weeding, but the flowers look nice in the spring. In the mornings, you can hear the bell ringing and everyone rushing to their desks. We don't have fancy smart boards in every room, just the usual blackboards and chalk. It works fine for us. The teachers have been here for a long time, some almost as long as the building itself. We have a small library where it's actually quiet for once. Dalanwala is a peaceful place to work. You don't get the heavy city noise here. We spend our days teaching, grading papers, and watching the kids grow up. It’s a steady pace of life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
