Ranip Sarvjanik High School

Ranip Sarvjanik High School is situated at 118/3 on Gandhi Ashram Road. If you know where the Geeta Bhawan Temple is, then you’ve definitely seen our building because we’re right opposite it. It’s a major landmark that helps people find us easily in Dehradun. This high school has been around for quite a long stretch of time. We have a lot of students coming in every morning, and the road gets quite crowded with bicycles, scooters, and parents dropping off their kids before work. Inside, it’s the usual mix of classrooms and a small office where we handle all the daily paperwork. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have enough desks and blackboards for everyone to learn. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we do keep a close eye on the kids. Being near the temple means we hear the bells sometimes during the day, which is actually quite a nice sound. The staff here are mostly local people who have lived in Dehradun their whole lives. We know the families and we know the neighborhood very well. It’s a straightforward school life for us. We have exams, we have holidays, and we have the daily grind of lessons. The building shows its age in some places, like the chipped paint on the window frames, but it’s sturdy and safe. We just focus on getting through the curriculum and helping the students. There isn't much more to it than that. It’s just a regular school doing its thing.
