Rani Avantibai School

You can find Rani Avantibai School at Vinita Bhawan on Gharat Road. We are out in Doiwala, which is a bit of a drive from the main Dehradun center. It’s a quieter part of the region, and we like it that way. The school is housed in a building that has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. We have regular classrooms and a small area where kids can run around a bit during their breaks. The desks are the old-fashioned kind, and the chalkboards get plenty of use every day. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets, but we make do with what we have. Most of the families around here know us well. We see the same faces at the gate every morning and afternoon. It’s a community thing. The teachers live nearby and understand the local way of life. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that’s just life in Doiwala. We keep the school open and ready for the kids regardless of the weather. There’s no big corporate office managing things; it’s just us on the ground. We focus on the lessons and making sure the children behave themselves. It’s a lot of talking and explaining. At the end of the day, we lock up the gates and go home ourselves. It’s a simple operation, really. We just try to provide a steady place for the local kids to come and learn their subjects without any unnecessary fuss.
