If you find yourself at Balliwala Chowk in Dehradun, you’re pretty close to where Rajmata Devkunvarba Sarvajanik S High School is set up. We are actually inside the Balaji Complex, right on the G-Floor. Being on the ground floor makes it a lot easier for the parents and the students to just walk in from the street. G M S Road is one of those busy stretches in Dehradun City where there is always something going on. You have the traffic from the chowk and people coming in and out of the various shops in the complex. It’s not your typical quiet school campus with big fields, but it works for being right in the middle of things. The 248001 area is quite central, so we get people from all over Dehradun coming by. Working in a commercial complex like Balaji means we share the space with other businesses, which is a bit different. You get used to the noise of the city and the constant movement. Inside, it's just regular classrooms and desks. We try to keep things organized despite the limited space you sometimes feel in a city building. Most of our day is spent handling the paperwork or talking to families who drop by the office. It's a straightforward setup for a high school. We’ve been at this GMS Road location for a while, and it has become a bit of a landmark for people in the neighborhood.
