Rajkiy High School Mahagaon

Rajkiy High School Mahagaon is located on the ground floor of the Balaji Complex on Gms Road. Since we are in a complex, there are other businesses nearby, which makes the morning drop-off quite lively. Being on the ground floor is convenient because the students don’t have to climb any stairs to get to their desks. The classrooms are lined up along a corridor, and each one is fairly basic. We have chalkboards that get a lot of use every day and benches that are solid and heavy. The Gms Road area of Dehradun City is always bustling, so there is a constant stream of people passing by the complex. We have a small space in front where the kids can gather for a few minutes before the first bell rings. Inside, the walls are mostly bare except for a few charts and the occasional map. The teachers here have been working in Dehradun for years and they have a very practical approach to teaching. They don't use fancy gadgets; it’s mostly just talk and write. During the rainy season, we have to be careful about the water coming in from the road, but otherwise, it’s a sturdy enough place. It’s a local school that fits into the daily life of the Balaji Complex, providing a place for the older kids in the area to come and finish their high school years.
