Rajkia Madhaya School

If you go to the Sandhu Center in Dehradun, you will find Rajkia Madhaya School on the second floor of the Jannat Block. It is a bit of a different setup compared to a standalone school building since we are part of a larger commercial complex. You have to head up the stairs or use the elevator to reach us. Being on Saharanpur Road means there is a lot of movement around the building all day long. From the second floor, you can see the busy street below and the Rajpur Road area. The classrooms are converted spaces within the block, so they have a bit of a modern feel but are kept very simple. We have the usual desks and chairs arranged in rows. Because we are in a center, we don't have a big open yard for the students. They usually stay within the halls or the designated rooms during their breaks. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is moving between classes, but we make it work. The sound of the city is always there in the background, but inside the rooms, it’s mostly just the sound of pens on paper. It’s a convenient location for parents who work nearby or live in this part of Dehradun. We focus on the books and the board, keeping the atmosphere serious enough for study but relaxed enough for the kids to feel okay.
