Om Vidya Mandir School

We've been over here on Tyagi Road in Dehradun for a while now. It’s right near the Race Course area, which most people know well. The building at 17/2 has seen many kids come and go through its doors over the years. We mostly just focus on getting through the daily lessons and making sure the students have what they need to learn their subjects. It is a busy place, especially in the mornings when parents are dropping off their children and the street gets a bit crowded. Our classrooms aren't anything fancy, but they get the job done. The teachers here live nearby or commute from other parts of Dehradun, so we are all pretty much locals. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or big events, as the focus is usually just on the books and the blackboard. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy during recess, but that's just how schools are. We try to keep the place tidy, though with so many kids running around, it’s a constant task. If you walk past the gate on a weekday, you’ll probably hear the sound of different classes going on at once. It’s just a regular school where we try to stick to the schedule. We handle the usual paperwork and exams like everyone else. There isn't much to say other than we are here every day from Monday to Saturday, doing the work that needs to be done for the kids in this neighborhood.
