Mago Vegetarian

We are located on Kaulagarh Road in Dehradun. You can find us right opposite the Oriental Bank of Commerce. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re in that part of town. We only do vegetarian food here. We’ve been running this place for some time now, and it’s become part of our daily life. The morning starts with getting the fresh vegetables in and sorting out the kitchen. It’s a simple setup, mostly for people who want a clean, honest meal without any meat. Dehradun has a certain pace, and we try to match that. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot where you can sit down and eat. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour when the bank employees and shopkeepers nearby come in. We try to get everyone fed quickly. The walls have been the same color for years, and the furniture is just basic. We don’t see a need for fancy decorations when the focus is on the cooking. Sometimes the weather in Dehradun gets cold, and that’s when we’re busiest with people wanting something warm. We aren't trying to do anything fancy or complicated. It’s just veg food for the local community. We put in the hours, clean up at night, and do it all again the next day. It’s honest work and we like being on Kaulagarh Road. People know what to expect when they walk inside our doors.
