Friends Village Restro And Cafe

We are based at 404 Indra Nagar Colony in Dehradun, right near the Bank of Baroda. We wanted to create a space that felt a bit more relaxed than the usual city cafes. We call it a village restro because we used a lot of simple wood and tried to keep things feeling basic. It isn't a fancy place with expensive furniture. We have some old chairs and some low benches. The lighting is a bit low, which some people like and others find a bit dark. We are just a group of friends who decided to open this place in our own neighborhood. We didn't want to work in big offices, so we did this instead. We live just a few minutes away, so we are always around. Dehradun is growing fast and there are many new malls, but we stayed here in the colony. We don't have any big signs or posters. Mostly people find us when they come to the bank or are just walking through Indra Nagar. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the door, and we have to put a bucket there. We do all the cooking ourselves and the menu changes depending on what we can find at the market. It is a quiet life and we aren't trying to impress anyone. We just want a place where people can sit for a while. It’s a simple, local cafe.
