Little Buddha Cafe

Little Buddha Cafe is located in Rishikesh, specifically in the Laxman Jhulla area. We are right near the Dharamraj Temple, so it is a spot many people pass by when they are walking through that part of town. The cafe has been around for a bit and we get a lot of travelers who are just wandering near the bridge. It is a simple place where you can sit and watch the world go by. Rishikesh has a certain pace to it, and we just try to fit into that daily rhythm. Being near the temple means there is a lot of foot traffic, especially during certain times of the year. We are not trying to be anything other than a local cafe where you can get a bite to eat. The atmosphere is just what you find in Laxman Jhulla, a bit busy but also relaxed in its own way. We keep the doors open and wait for whoever comes in, whether they are locals or people from far away. The view and the location are really why people find us. It’s a bit of a walk to get here but most people don’t seem to mind. We just handle the cooking and the cleaning and make sure there is a place for people to rest. It is a basic setup but it works for what we do here in this corner of the city.
