Hyatt Regency

Up here in Uttaranchal, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. We are located at A 1 in T Colony, which is part of Clement Town. It is a different kind of setting for a Hyatt, surrounded by a bit more greenery and hills. The air feels a little cleaner than Delhi. We handle the rooms and the guests who come through this part of the state. The building is solid and has been here for a while. We spend our days making sure the rooms are ready and the lobby looks decent. Sometimes we have issues with the water pipes or the garden needs extra work after a big rain. The staff usually comes from the local villages nearby. We eat together in the back area when it’s quiet. It is not always packed with people, but we keep the place running regardless. Managing a property in 248002 means dealing with the mountain weather. Winters get quite cold so we have to make sure the heating is working right. We don't have a lot of big corporate meetings here; it’s mostly families or travelers passing through. The furniture is practical and we try to keep everything tidy. It is a lot of walking around the halls and checking on things. We just do our work and go home when the shift is over. It’s a steady job in a nice, quiet part of India.
