Trans Destinations

We are based at number 6 Durga Vihar, just off Cantt Road in Ballupur. It's a decent area, not too far from the main road but far enough that we don't get all the heavy noise from the traffic. We’ve been operating out of this small office for a while. It’s got a few desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We spend our days coordinating trips and figuring out the best ways for people to get from one place to another. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. Sometimes the buses or trains are late, and then we have to figure out a backup plan quickly. That’s the stressful part of the job. But mostly, it’s just steady work. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break to talk. Ballupur is a good place to be located. We see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood. We aren't a big agency with dozens of branches and fancy advertising. It’s just us here, trying to make sure everything goes smoothly for the people who come to us for help. We don't use fancy software, just the usual stuff and our own notes. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us and the people we help. We just like to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone who walks through the door.
