Har Parshad Modern School

We are located at 21 Tilak Road, right in the heart of Paltan Bazar in Dehradun. It’s a very busy part of town, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. The school has been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the streets outside change quite a bit over the years. Dehradun has grown so much, but our corner on Tilak Road stays mostly the same. The building has that older feel to it, which we kind of like. It’s got high ceilings and windows that let in the mountain air when it’s not too cold. During the rainy season, you can hear the water hitting the roof pretty loudly, but the kids don't seem to mind. We aren't a fancy modern building with glass walls; we’re more of a traditional setup. The staff rooms are usually filled with notebooks and old registers. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. Parents often drop their kids off and then go do their marketing in the bazaar. It makes the mornings very energetic. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or marketing ourselves. We just open the gates every morning and get to work. It’s a bit noisy because of the location, but there’s a lot of life in this part of 248001. We’re just a staple of the local community here, really. Not much more to say about it than that.
