Dehradun Public School

Dehradun Public School is tucked away in Section 23 of Sanjay Nagar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we are surrounded by houses and local shops. Most of the kids who come here just walk from their homes nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the building has seen a lot of students pass through. It isn’t a massive campus with fancy sports fields, just a solid building with enough room for the classes we run. The hallways can be a bit narrow, and it gets quite noisy when the bell rings and everyone heads to the next class. We don't have a big staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from fixing a desk to helping a parent with a form. It is a very local feel here. We know most of the parents by name because we see them at the market or around the block. Sanjay Nagar is a quiet enough place, but the school adds a lot of life to this street in the mornings. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we are just a neighborhood school trying to do a decent job for the families around here. Sometimes the paint is peeling a bit or a fan stops working, and we just fix it as we go. It’s a real place with real people working hard every day.
