Convent Of Jesus & Mary High School

We are located at 16 Convent Road, which is a fairly quiet street for most of the day. The building itself is quite old and has that solid feel to it. When you walk in, you notice the high ceilings and the wide corridors. It’s a place that has seen a lot of students come and go over the decades. We don't have many modern decorations; we prefer to keep things the way they have always been. The classrooms are large and usually have a lot of natural light coming in from the big windows. During the lunch hour, the courtyard is the busiest part of the school. Students sit on the steps or at their desks to eat their tiffin. We have a main office near the entrance where all the administrative work happens. It’s usually cluttered with files and registers. The staff here is used to the daily grind of teaching and grading. We don't try to be anything we are not. It’s just a school where we follow the rules and teach the subjects. Sometimes the gardens need a bit of weeding, but we get to it when we can. People in the city know us by our address on Convent Road. It is a steady, reliable place for education. We don't use much jargon or have big meetings. We just get on with the day’s work and try to keep everything tidy.
