Carmel Day & Residential School

Our school, Carmel Day & Residential School, sits on General Mahadev Singh Road, not too far from the Indira Puran post office in Majra. It’s a bit of a mix here because we have students who just come for the day and others who stay with us in the residential part. This means there’s almost always someone around, even in the evenings. The grounds are decent, with enough space for the kids to get some fresh air. We don't have a polished PR team writing our stuff; we’re just the people who run the place. The buildings have seen a lot of students over the years, and they have that lived-in feel. We focus on the basics of education and making sure the kids who live here are looked after. It’s a big responsibility, and we take it seriously without making a big show of it. The traffic on General Mahadev Singh Road can be a bit much during rush hour, but inside the gates, it’s mostly just the sound of kids talking or playing. We have a set routine for the boarders, from breakfast to lights out. For the day scholars, it’s a typical school day. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s a reliable one. We deal with the usual repairs and the daily grind of running a school and a hostel. We’re just here doing our jobs in Majra. We don't need any big slogans.
