B.R. New Modern School

B.R. New Modern School has been on Kandoliya Road for a while now. Most people know where we are because we’re right near Agency Chowk, so it’s easy to find us even if the traffic gets a bit much in the mornings. It’s not a huge, fancy place, but the building is sturdy and the rooms get plenty of light during the day. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running. Usually, the day starts with the sound of the big gate opening and then all the noise from the students starts up. The teachers mostly live nearby, so you see them walking in with their bags and maybe a cup of tea they picked up on the way. The desks in some of the rooms are a bit older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint here and there, but it works for what we need. When the bell rings at lunch, everyone heads out into the yard. It can get pretty loud with all the shouting and running around near the main entrance. We don’t have any big corporate office or anything like that, just a small desk near the front where we keep the records and handle the mail. Life here is pretty much the same day to day, just teaching and making sure the kids are doing their work. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking noise when it’s hot out, but we just get on with it.
