Djhimali Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based up in the hills. We are at C/O Maita Bahadur Subba in Rangbhang Busty, which is in the Upper Katwali area. Our post office is also Rangbhang, and we are under the Sukiapokhri block in Darjeeling. The pin code is 734216. It’s a beautiful place to work, but it’s also quite a trek to get up here sometimes. We are deep in the Darjeeling district, and our producer company is made up of local people from these mountains. The office is just a simple room in Maita Bahadur Subba’s house. We don't have any fancy tech or modern office furniture. It’s mostly just wooden tables and chairs and a lot of papers. Being in a busty like Rangbhang means life is quiet and follows the seasons. We focus on the agro side of things because that is what everyone around here knows. Sukiapokhri is the nearest bigger area, and we often have to go down there for supplies or meetings. It’s a very practical life. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We are just a group of farmers and local residents working under the name Djhimali Agro. The air is fresh and the work is hard, but we like being based right here in Upper Katwali where we can see the hills every day and stay close to the soil.
